Since I already mentioned the region of Haná (Moravia), here's a costume from there:

I've come across a few more interesting photos of Slovene costumes, as well as some that I haven't posted yet. First is an old colourised photo of two women in the Rož costume from Carinthia. You don't see many of these. Next is a photo of a man in a "Carniolan national costume" from 1906. So it's supposed to be of an Upper Carniolan type and despite of the poor quality we can observe several interesting things. The man's costume includes a jacket, which is a rare sight today but was very common back then. He tied his silk scarf as a sort of tie beneath the collar, which is how they used to do it in the 19th century, but later it became the norm to pull the corners out at the shoulders, so they were visible. Nowadays people often just sew in two triangles cut from a silk kerchief at the shoulders. The man has a žlajfica stocking cap under his hat, which is something that sadly isn't worn today anymore. The odd thing is the rather long string of the stocking cap from which the tassel hangs. I've never seen one so long. Another thing to notice is the lack of boots and white linen pants worn beneath the lederhosen. Instead the man wears low shoes and knee high socks, with the lederhosen tied with ribbons beneath the knee, which is already archaic for that time but was perfectly normal earlier in the 19th century. Another man in a Slovene national costume with a jacket. The silk kerchief is again worn like a tie at the collar, but the ends are pulled out to be visible at the shoulder. He's wearing grouse tail feathers on his hat (the so called "kuražfedra") and the waistcoat shows a rich emroiderd ornament pattern. Here's a group of people (perhaps a family) in national costumes on the ice of Lake Bled. With the exception of one, all women wear big gold embroidered "avba" headwear, which you rarely see today anymore. In the past it used to be a symbol of wealth for well off peasent women. The boy and the man both have their silk scarves tied around the neck and not pulled out at the shoulders. A couple in Slovenian national costumes with a hayrack and the Alps in the background. The woman is again wearing a big, richly decorated "avba". The man has big silver Thalers hanging from his watch pocket chain and the silk kerchief tied beneath his collar. If you look closely, you can notice the red and gold ornamental stitching at the very top of his boots. Last is a modern reproduction of a waistcoat with a pattern that would be common in the past (a 100 years ago but also as recently as 50 years ago or less). The high style collar and the way it is cut at the bottom is not common nowadays either.
