I'm continuing with costumes from Lower Styria. Images of those are hard to find, especially because the older Alpine types were replaced by more industrial mass produced type of clothes that resemble the fashion of towns and cities, or in some places also by white Panonnian types. That's why this post includes only a few of them as I couldn't find any images of costumes from Kozjansko, Brežice, Haloze, Maribor or Ptuj. This type represents a general Alpine costume from Lower Styria, but I think it would be right to say it's more specific to the area of Celje and Zidani Most, from what I've seen in museums. Moving on from szűr, here are some Central and Eastern European fur coats. While the Hungarian suba is a cape or cloak, without sleeves, the Russian šuba and other Slavic kožuch/kožuh/kožich (all meaning "fur") are propper coats, usually quite long and often embroidered.
