Hi all! Checking in to discuss all matters historical, especially Irish, but also British & Classical when the mood strikes. Some of you may know me as GMC from elsewhere, but I felt that almost a decade on a new historical alias was in order. 'Rex Monoculus Midiensis', or 'The one-eyed king of Meath', references a figure I have researched in some detail and will doubtless post about in due course.
Good to see so many familiar people, and good to be back.
