Do you have a historical dopplegänger - maybe not in appearance but in personality/disposition??? I know one of the personality / psychological preference tests I like often categorizes people into groups with some historical figures who have been posthumously identified as being a certain "type". If you are a Myers-Briggs fan and know your type, this is a fun directory of historical people and their types: Historical Figure MB databaseI suppose there is probably a category of people who are similar to us and also the people who we wish we were more like... what do you all think?

George B. McClellan, sad to say. In appearance or personality? He wasn't a bad looking guy - but something about him drives me slightly nuts. 🤣 Again, I may not understand the finer points of his personality, though!

Personality. Long on theory, short on practice.

Inasmuch as the MBTI, I share a type with Cardinal Richelieu... and William of Orange. For appearance, I can't think of anyone in particular, but I think I bear a passing resemblance to Margaret Brooks, Lady Denham. We could be cousins, but not sisters. Similar nose, brow, and unfortunately, hairline.
