Post trailers for movies that are fun to watch. Beer and pretzels stuff.
Here's one I enjoy. I like it because it's shot entirely on one set, and I appreciate a budget-minded production. When an IRA arms deal goes bad, only one person will walk out of this warehouse alive. Who will it be?

One of the silliest movie franchises ever. I just love them. Like the old Maverick TV series, it became fashionably desirable to be seen in a Sharknado movie.

This one is on Netflix. "Morally Ambiguous" doesn't even begin to describe the characters in this miniseries. The title says it all: "Fauda" means "Chaos". The disturbing aspect is that the writers worked in the jobs depicted. One hopes they were a little more scrupulous....

This one gets a four star rating in my chicks with guns collection. I don't even like Nicole Kidman; she irritates the ever-lovin' hell out of me. But credit where it's due, she nailed this. If she didn't get nominated for an Oscar for this one it's because there's no justice in the world. Nice psychological thriller with a dash of obscene violence and a Pulp-Fictionesque circular story.

Another high scorer on the chicks with guns scale, but impossible to watch without subtitles. They all talk as fast as the Gilmore Girls, but in breathy whispers. Great plot, great script. Amazing ending which they left wide open for a sequel which I hope they never make, because it couldn't possibly be as good. This one is a shootin', fightin', cussin', back-stabbbin', action fest from front to back.

This is one of my favorite artsy/beer night movies... having a few beers is essential (as everyone is drinking and being dunked in a winner's beer bath the whole time) to appreciate the nuance of the story. LOL!

Never heard of that one. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

A box office flop that's destined to become a cult classic. Brilliant film.

Another box office flop that still entertains all these years later. I had no idea how badly the producers interfered with and mangled this film. Why pay to make something you aren't going to like? Still ten out of ten on the chicks with guns scale. It's silly. It's irreverent. It's Tank Girl!

Despite being about as far from the target audience as I could be, I love this film. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I've been a huge roller derby fan since the 1970s. Ellen Elliot Page does a great coming of age movie with a twist and an amazing supporting cast. And whatever else one makes of it, Drew Barrymore is a bloody good director as it turns out. So pop some corn and settle down with Maggie Mayhem, Smashley Simpson, Rosa Sparks, Iron Maven, Bloody Holly and Babe Ruthless! Whip it!
