Hey all!
I'm Abraham! Some of you active in the Other Place will know me as Abraham95.
My historical interests are very wide ranging, although my most passionate engagement is with English and American history (Norman, Tudor, and Stuart England; and all of American history up to about Wilson). I'm also very much an expert in Judaism and its history, and am fluent in both classical Hebrew and ancient Aramaic.
I believe it was Niobe (Aurelia here) who got me to make this account sone time back, and the Duchess inspired me to get active.
So here I am!

It's nice to have another person deeply interested in the Tudor-Stuart period as well. I'm afraid that my compatriots can only hear me babble about Charles II so much before they just tune me out, haha. I'm currently working on a degree in theological studies -- specifically focused on the historical-theological aspect of the Reformation -- so I may have to pick your brain about Judaism some time. See you around!

Very glad to see our league of extraordinary history buffs grow - also super happy to get some more American History fans here! I'd love to learn more about Judaism - as a kid I went to a Seder and found it so interesting... especially the empty seat at the table! It stuck with me and I'm sad that as a kid much of it probably went right over my head. I look forward to learning more from you.
