Bach's Brandenburg concertos are pretty sublime, love the harpsichord solo.
The harp isn't your typical jazz instrument, until Dorothy Ashby came along.
In french prog rock Magma can feel too intense for me, this track is a little softer from Magma's former bassist.

First discovered the beauty of fado music from Wim Wenders' "Lisbon Story", a mostly forgettable movie but the soundtrack stuck with me.
As someone who grew up on gangsta rap, the concept of space in music was anathema to me, thankfully Monsieur Davis showed me the way.

"Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" was unlike anything I'd ever heard before, such organised chaos could only be made in a studio.
The Soviet Union gave us some good classical composers.
Who doesn't love dark classical music?
