Taking public transportation can be an adventure in and of itself. What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen on public transportation?
I saw a shirtless fellow try to chase the train across the platform, on a bike, whilst shotgunning a beer. He almost ran over a kid. I've also seen someone get into a fight with a wet floor sign (much like Rochester getting into fight with that sundial), and was proposed to by a random man while waiting for the train. I said nary a word, but made the mistake of making eye contact with him. All of a sudden, he was screaming at me, questioning my morals and saying quite scandalous things about me, before sprinting away when the train come, never to be seen again.
Not quite public transport, but this was seen in the Underground City, which is essentially a huge underground mall connected to our metro. The other day, when I was going to the grocery store in that Underground City, I saw a single human tooth. I've also seen a wall covered in blood at that same station.
Montreal is a great city, really.

The funniest story I remember was a day I had to go to my university at the evening.
The bus was getting out of the post, in a two lane street. A car started to sound the horn and kept on the lane the bus was maneuvering. The bus driver said “well I have a horn too!” And started to sound the bus horn.
Instead of changing to the upper lane, the car kept forward and struck the bus hard, crashing and spinning for a while.
No one got hurt but damn, it was the most avoidable car crash I ever seen

That's pretty typical for the 514. Not just in the winter, but every day.
